The small, robust and very stiff U93A reliably measures both static and highly dynamic tensile and compressive forces. Its small dimensions and good dynamic properties make it a cost-effective alternative to piezoelectric force sensors. The mechanical connection is straightforward and secure thanks to the U93A’s flange screw connections on both sides. The sensor has an IP68 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor use as well.

Like all force transducers from HBK, the U93A is easy to configure, allowing it to easily adapt to various conditions. Its design, featuring supporting diaphragms, makes the sensor exceptionally robust and resistant to lateral forces. Another useful feature for production environments is that the cable of the U93A force sensor is compatible with drag chains and is oil-resistant.
