Current Source Power Unit 4007

Dytran model 4007 is a compact, board-level IEPE signal conditioner designed for OEM integration in vibration monitoring systems. Supporting up to four IEPE transducers, it delivers DC output levels proportional to the RMS amplitude of each input signal. The unit features a true-RMS conversion circuit that translates input signals up to 2 V RMS into a DC range of 1 – 5 VDC, enabling precise analog output for control and logging systems.

Each channel includes a factory-set excitation current of 2.5 mA, adjustable up to 6 mA via onboard potentiometers. LED indicators provide visual feedback on current status, and each channel can be individually disabled via a switch. Channel 1 includes an input sensing circuit that outputs a logic signal in case of open or short conditions, enhancing fault detection capabilities.

Two selectable low-pass filter settings — 3 kHz and 10 kHz — are available per channel, with custom cutoff frequencies offered upon request. The 4007 is ideal for embedded applications requiring compact form factor, multi-channel IEPE support, and reliable RMS signal conditioning.
