Dytran 3316C — is an ultra high temperature charge accelerometer

Overview

The Dytran 3316C sensor engineered for reliable operation in extreme environments up to 538°C (1000°F). It features a unique single crystal charge mode sensing element housed in a hermetically sealed, miniature Inconel™ housing, utilizing planar shear technology. The sensor’s patented “Silver Window™” design on the top cover allows oxygen access to the crystal at high temperatures while maintaining hermeticity.

Weighing between 6 and 13 grams, the Dytran 3316C miniature design makes it ideal for use in locations inaccessible to larger sensors. It offers a sensitivity between 0.5 and 2 pC/g and an upper frequency response of up to 10 kHz.
Mounting options include 5-40 or 10-32 tapped holes, with some models also available for adhesive mounting.
