Dytran model 3205M is a miniature uniaxial IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer designed for high-impact vibration monitoring in space-constrained and low-power environments. It is part of the 3205 series, optimized for down-hole drill head diagnostics and embedded systems where supply voltage is limited and fast response is essential.

With a sensitivity of 0.33 mV/g and a measurement range of 30,000 m/s², the 3205M is engineered to capture sharp transient events and high-frequency vibration signals. Its frequency response spans from 0.64 Hz to 5 kHz, supported by a resonance frequency of 30 kHz, ensuring accurate signal fidelity across a broad dynamic range.

The sensor features stud mounting for secure and repeatable installation, and its ultra-lightweight 2 g design minimizes mass loading on sensitive structures. Operating from –40 °C to 175 °C, the 3205M is ideal for rugged industrial diagnostics, ESS testing, and embedded vibration monitoring in thermally demanding environments.
