Dytran model 3205B is a miniature, high-performance uniaxial IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer designed for vibration monitoring in space-constrained and low-power environments. It is particularly suited for down-hole drill head diagnostics and other applications where supply voltage is limited and fast response is critical.

With a sensitivity of 2 mV/g and a measurement range of 5000 m/s², the 3205B delivers reliable data for high-frequency vibration analysis. Its frequency response spans from 0.64 Hz to 5 kHz, supported by a resonance frequency of 30 kHz, ensuring clean signal capture across a broad dynamic range.

The sensor features adhesive mounting for flexible installation and weighs only 2 g, minimizing mass loading on sensitive structures. Operating from –40 °C to 175 °C, the 3205B is engineered to perform in extreme thermal conditions, making it ideal for embedded systems, ESS testing, and rugged industrial diagnostics.
