Dytran model 3166B is a hermetically sealed uniaxial IEPE accelerometer designed for industrial vibration monitoring, especially in applications where space is limited or a low-profile sensor is required. With a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and a measurement range of 500 m/s², the 3166B provides accurate and stable output for moderate vibration levels. Its frequency response spans from 0.3 Hz to 5 kHz, supported by a resonance frequency of 21 kHz, ensuring clean signal fidelity across the operating bandwidth.

The sensor features center bolt mounting for secure installation and is built to withstand temperatures from –50 °C to 120 °C. Weighing 228 g, it offers mechanical robustness suitable for heavy-duty industrial setups, while maintaining precision and reliability over time.
