C2/C2A

The robust C2 series load cells made of stainless-steel have an excellent dynamic fatigue strength and a particularly flat design. The C2A version meets the OIML R60 requirements up to the C4 accuracy class.

C2 and C2A Load Cells: Universal Compression Load Cells

Overview
Downloads

Proven useful in tens of thousands of applications, the C2 series load cells provide a reliable and accurate weighing of loads ranging between 50 kg and 50 t. Applications can be found in all branches of industry where tough and robust load cells are required. Some examples of their application include silo and ladle weighing, batching scales, platform scales, or lifter scales (with pulleys).

The C2A version of the load cells (available with a maximum capacity of 1 t, 2 t, 5 t, and 10 t) is legal for trade in the Classes D1, D3, and C4, and it can also be used across all applications where goods are sold by weight.

  • Maximum capacity: 50 kg, 100 kg, 200 kg, 500 kg, 1 t, 2 t, 5 t, 10 t, 20 t, 50 t
  • Principle of measurement: Strain-gauge full bridge in 6-wire configuration
  • Version: Compression load
  • Degree of protection: IP67

Universal

  • Flat design
  • 10 maximum capacities are available: 50 kg / 100 kg / 200 kg / 500 kg / 1 t / 2 t / 5 t / 10 t / 20 t / 50 t
  • Can be used in lifter scales with pulleys
  • Excellent dynamic behavior on account of its infinitesimal displacement
  • Accurate monitoring of static weight through the use of  strain-gauge technology

The matching type for every application

Robust

  • Stainless steel
  • Hermetical encapsulation and laser welding
  • Degree of protection: IP67
  • Ex-version available as an option (IECEx-ATEX and EAC zone)

Well-suited for use in harsh environments, thanks to its rugged design

Legal for trade

Special features of the C2A version:

  • Internationally accepted OIML test certificate
  • Accuracy classes: D1, C3, C4 for all nominal (rated) ranges

Can also be used in legal-for-trade applications, owing to OIML certificate
