Current Source Power Unit 4102С

Dytran model 4102C is a battery-powered, single-channel current source designed to operate IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, pressure transducers, and force sensors with built-in amplifiers. It delivers a fixed 2 mA constant current at a compliance voltage of +18 VDC, generated by two 9 V dry cell batteries connected in series. This compact and portable unit is ideal for field testing and mobile setups where AC power is unavailable.

The 4102C includes a front-panel voltmeter that continuously monitors the quiescent bias voltage at the sensor input, helping users detect cable faults or sensor malfunctions. A momentary pushbutton located below the meter allows battery voltage checks without interrupting the test. Both the sensor input and signal output use standard BNC connectors for easy integration with measurement systems.
