Current Source Power Unit 4103С

Dytran model 4103C is a battery-operated, three-channel current source power unit designed to operate IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, pressure transducers, and force sensors with integrated amplifiers. It supplies a fixed 2 mA constant current at a compliance voltage of +18 VDC, generated by two 9 V dry cell batteries connected in series. This portable unit is ideal for field testing, mobile setups, and temporary installations where AC power is unavailable.

Each channel includes a BNC sensor input and output jack, allowing easy integration with standard measurement systems. A low-current voltmeter on the front panel continuously monitors the quiescent bias voltage at the sensor input, helping detect cable faults or sensor malfunctions. A momentary pushbutton located below the meter enables battery voltage checks without interrupting ongoing tests.
