MX430B: QuantumX SG Bridge Amplifier (4)

QuantumX family 4-channel measurement module for precise measurements when connecting SG full bridge-based transducers;
Supports the following transducer technologies:
– Strain gage full bridge circuit;
The following applies for each channel:
– Accuracy: 100 ppm;
– Bridge excitation: 2.5 or 5 V with DC or CF-based bridge excitation or DC 10 V;
– Measuring ranges: 2.5 or 5 mV/V;
– Transducer impedance: max. 5000 Ohm;
– Bridge excitation: 600 Hz CF for interference suppression (bandwidth: max. 200 Hz);
– Alternative bridge excitation: Direct voltage (DC) and therefore high dynamics (bandwidth: 6 kHz);
– Supports 6-wire circuit;
– Data rate: max. 40 kS/s;
– Galvanically isolated inputs for current feed and communication;
– TEDS support: automatic sensor identification;
– Scaling: 2-point / gain+offset, table, polynomial, multi-polynomial;
– Digital low-pass filter: Bessel, Butterworth, linear phase;
– Working standard calibration certificate saved in the device;
Special functions:
– Real-time calculation of 4×4 matrix for use with multi-component transducers, etc.;
– Analog output per channel (BNC): 10 V, scalable, filter;

MX430B is the precise and compact module of the QuantumX family. It provides four inputs for accurate measurement of strain gauge full bridge based sensors such as uni- or multiaxial force sensorstorque transducers as well as pressure sensors. HBM provides the entire measurement chain for efficient measurement: precise sensors, the QuantumX MX430B measurement module and suitable software.

Precise force and torque measurement is essential, in particular when the objective is to determine the exact balance in aerodynamic tests of vehicles, aircraft or sports equipment in the wind tunnel. MX430B is also well suited for other test bench applications demanding high precision and reliability such as the determination of the center of gravity of rocketsmeasurement analysis of fuselage or load analysis in engine test benches. The module is lightweight and compact and thus allows for portable use for servicing in machine and sensor calibration.
