Genesis HighSpeed Tethered Mainframes

Overview
Downloads

HBK’s tethered Genesis HighSpeed mainframes are the indispensable basis for our versatile and extremely powerful data acquisition systems and provide all the features expected from a transient recorder. The “t = tethered” mainframes are supposed to be used stand alone or with a PC connected via Ethernet. They are the first choice for fixed installations in a test bench/rack or distributed in a larger installation. They feature the LINUX OS, local hard disk storage and can be controlled either using the Perception software or via low level API from other DAQ softwares like LabView.

Depending on the selected operating mode – continuous or transient – measurement data is either transferred directly to the internal SSD, stored on the optional removable disk, transferred to an external PC or it is initially buffered on the input cards’ high-speed RAM to offer transient recording without any throughput limitations.

All Genesis HighSpeed mainframes provide compact dimension for an efficient mounting in a rack or cabinet. A Master/Sync function is available for synchronized recording using two or more Genesis HighSpeed mainframes.

Your Genesis HighSpeed can be integrated smoothly into a system with other devices, as all mainframes support the Precision Time Protocol (PTP v2). This enables the clocks of multiple devices networked via Ethernet to be synchronized – regardless of the product family.
