Overview

Dytran model 3190A is an ATEX-certified uniaxial IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer designed for condition monitoring of cryogenic systems and rotating machinery in hazardous environments. Housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel enclosure, the sensor is built to withstand extreme temperatures and aggressive industrial conditions.

With a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and a measurement range of 50 g, the 3190A6 provides reliable vibration data for pumps, motors, and LNG tank applications. It features a 3-pin MS3106A-10SL-3P axial connector and mounts via four through-holes spaced 1.375 inches apart, ensuring secure installation.

The sensor operates across a wide temperature range from –196 °C to +121 °C (–320 °F to +250 °F), making it suitable for cryogenic monitoring tasks such as liquid natural gas pump diagnostics and rotating equipment analysis in cold storage or processing environments.
